Lithia Springs, GA – October 22, 2021 - Forrest Marbutt - We had a great time Saturday (September 18th) at the S.H.A.R.E. House 5K. Thank you to all over our employees, friends and family who was able to make it out. Our employees represented FSI well in support of this non-profit organization that provides intervention and care associated with the causes and effects of family violence.
Many FSI employees placed in the top 3 in their age groups for the 5K so you may see some medals floating around FSI. Not that they were truly competing, but if they were, the fastest overall FSI male and female employees in the building are Wayne Wascom and Tara Rhoden. There was another couple of young guys who might have been faster, but I did say “in the building”, right.
This was the first 5K for some of you, and I hope it’s the first of many in your future. I don’t know when the next one will be for FSI as a group, but we’re looking at schedules, and we’ll get one planned soon. This gives you time to train so you can catch Wayne and Tara if you’re looking to run it fast, or just have a good time and finish. All of it was for a good cause, and we had a great time together. I hope to see more at the next one.
