FSI Helps Local Food Bank During the Holidays

Lithia Springs, GA – December 14, 2021 – Gifford Pace – When an employee suggested to support a local food bank during the holidays, FSI delivered.  We helped The Pantry of Douglasville with their Help Feed Hungry Children Campaign.

Bins were set up at FSI from November 1st through December 10th to collect dry goods.  Some suggested items were canned vegetables and meats, bags of beans and rice, cereal, peanut butter, Mac & Cheese, and juice boxes.

The Pantry has been helping hungry and hurting people since 2007.  They partner with a wide variety of churches, The Atlanta Community Food Bank, local civic groups, local businesses, and individuals of faith throughout the West Atlanta area to provide hundreds of thousands of pounds of food to folks in need.  If you, or someone you know< would like assistance, their physical address is 9633-A Hwy 5, Douglasville, GA 30135.  They are open most Saturdays from 9am to 11:30am.  Please see the website for Saturdays and Holidays that The Pantry is closed.
