Employee Appreciation - We all Scream for Ice Cream  

Lithia Springs – 5/27/22 - Forrest Marbutt - I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream" is a popular song, first published in 1927, with words and music by Howard Johnson, Billy Moll, and Robert A. King.  After initial success as a late 1920s novelty song, the tune became a traditional jazz standard, while the lyrics refrain "I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream" has remained a part of popular culture even without the rest of the song.

Whether or not most of us knew the origins of that popular phrase, we do know that we’ve all either said it or thought about it when enjoying some ice cream.  FSI recently celebrated Employee Appreciation Day on 4/15/22 by having the ice cream man stop by, complete with the ice cream man music and ringing a bell.  Every employee got to pick out whatever ice cream they wanted. 

It was a nice break for the employees from the normal routine of pick/pack/ship and kit packing.  It’s not often we get to gather all employees in all departments together at the same time, but all 130+ were on hand to enjoy a much needed break.  Lots of laughter, enjoying the sunshine, and even tossing the football around. 

Despite a brief company stoppage, we can assure you that all of the pick/pack/ship orders and kits still shipped on time.
