FSI Hosts Product Genius

Lithia Springs, GA  - February 19, 2021 – Gifford Pace – We had the pleasure of hosting Tiffany Krumins Product Genius podcast at Fulfillment Strategies International’s new location (875 Douglas Hill Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122).  Yes, we moved here in April 2020, but COVID put celebrations to a screeching halt…until now.  Some of Tiffany’s LinkedIN connections flew in from Florida for the show and tour our place.

The tour was led by Seth Gilland, Business Development Manager.  He drove the visitors Joe Philips, Maryann Kilgallon, Jane Sylvester, Steven Julian (the slightly annoying cohost), and Jodey Smith (the best podcast engineer I know) on golf carts while Tiffany and I rode along on three-wheel bikes.  We toured the entire 486,000 square foot facility which is more than double the prior storage capacity of two locations given the 34 foot ceiling height and six-levels of racking.  However, it’s filling fast since FSI didn’t slow our operations during the pandemic. 

During the podcast interview, Steven asked Seth and me about what our favorite part of coming to work at FSI different.  While I said it’s about listening to a client’s story and helping them solve fulfillment problems, Seth expanded that to include sharing logistical knowledge and experience.  Seth also talked about how treating employees like family is the culture which starts with the leadership, as well as working with great partners like the Tommy Nobis Center, a non-profit organization (tommynobis.org) that help veterans and others with special needs and disabilities find meaningful work.  When the customer service team element is added then you have some real relationships develop between clients and their FSI customer service representatives.  Thanks for allowing Fulfillment Strategies International to hold such a fun show.
