It's All Fun and Games with Our Chili Cookoff & Putt-Putt

Lithia Springs, GA – 11/24/23 – Shayla Strange - With the end of the third quarter, we needed to a fun way to celebrate as well as kick off the fourth quarter! What better way than to have a Chili Cookoff that combines good old fashion competition and great food. With over 10 flavors submitted, the judges – Tim, Eddie, and Tracy – had their hands full and taste buds tingling. Here are the top three winners:

1st Place – Carleen, Warehouse Manager

2nd Place – Toni, Director of Human Resources

3rd Place – Joshua, Warehouse Manager

Aside from the Chili Cookoff Contest, we had more awards like Work Anniversaries and Ideas for Cash to give out. Chris and Deyonna celebrated 5 years of work at FSI this year while Wayne and Marcus received awards for their Ideas for Cash. Quick note on the “Ideas for Cash” program. FSI strives to be as efficient as possible in everything that we do, and our employees are key to that success. We love to hear and implement new ways to work smarter.

We didn’t want to stop at just a chili contest and awards show. FSI brought in a 9-hole putt-putt course to the backyard. Good tunes along with good putts make for a good time among co-workers. What a great way for folks to bond and let loose!

Throughout the quarter, FSI also recognizes 5 employees of the month granting them bragging rights, designated parking spot, AND a FREE car wash from a mobile detailer that comes to FSI. We are proud to recognize the September and October recipients below.
